iOS ATMOSPHERE SOFTWARE UPDATE

As we all know iOS 13.0 was one of the worst software updates Apple has ever had. With this update there were many flaws.

According to Digital Trends: “Apple released iOS 13 with much fanfare though the euphoria was short-lived. From the day of its launch on September 19, there were more problems and stability issues than usual. Numerous bugs plagued iOS 13’s initial release — so many that Apple quickly released a beta upgrade to iOS 13.1 a week ahead of schedule to squash the worst, most commonly reported problems. Then it released the final version of 13.1, adding a feature to boost battery life. An interim fix with 13.1.1 was followed by a maintenance or bug fix update in 13.1.2 to fix problems that popped up in 13.1, followed by 13.2, and finally this month, the launch of 13.3. Considering all the issues users encountered this year, many undoubtedly will think twice before jumping into the next OS upgrade on the very day it’s launched, as so many Apple users have done for so many years.”

Start Up Looping Issue

With that being said the update to iOS 13.0 caused some communication and connection errors with apps. Restomod Air Atmosphere was affected also. Some customers had an issue of the start screen looping and never going through the setup of connecting to your system. If you are having this issue, below are the steps to correct the problem. Apple made changes with iOS 13.2 update to correct to correct the problem. To clarify this was not an issue with Restomod Air’s Atmosphere but it dealt with Apple iOS. This blog to correct combability with iOS and Atmosphere.

Verify Software Version

First you need to find out which version iOS software you are running. You should be running 13.2 or later. If you are Running 13.1 you will have to update. There is no work around on this and there is no other way to correct this issue. This is how you will check.

Updating Settings

The next step is to delete the Restomod Air Atmopshere app. You will also have to rest settings. You are not deleting your other content just the settings.  Just to reiterate you are not deleting or wiping out your phone here. You are only resetting the settings. No damage to your phone will occur. This is how you do it.

Rest All Settings

You will have to put in your passcode to confirm that you want to reset all settings. After your device resets a Hello screen will appear. Do not worry your phone was not “wiped out” only the settings were reset. All your apps will still be on your device. You will have to enter your passcode once more through the setup process.
