The 1947-55 Chevy Truck TruMOD A/C Kit uses the Ultra-Compact Climate Control System with A/C & Heat with Infinite Blend between Dash, Defrost, and Floor. The Bantam-S A/C system is designed for a flat firewall installation and is the top of the line, the most stylish, most powerful, and toughest aftermarket A/C system.
TruMOD air conditioning kits are what we recommend for your vehicle. TruMOD Kits may have some model specific parts, but you have the ability to heavily customize your installation. TruMOD A/C Kits are designed for the vehicle that has a smoothed firewall. This allows the use of our multi-mount system for you to keep that perfectly smooth firewall using either the welded options for body phase or bolted options for completed (painted) cars.
Building your 1947-1955 Chevy Truck Trumod A/C kit is simple. All you have to do it choose your interior kit, condenser kit, optional compressor, and optional compressor bracket.

This guy features separate dash, defrost and floor modes, all within our innovation in a case. Our multi-mount system makes the installation of this custom A/C system a breeze. No need for fabricating brackets or visible bolt heads. Simply use the template, mark your firewall, weld studs/drill & use the included stainless hex head bolts.
The Bantam – S is even designed for easy upgrades. When we have new technology available, it is plug & play. You can even remove the blower motor, expansion valve & thermostat for servicing with the evaporator still in the vehicle.

Your TruMOD Kit comes with Satin Stealth Classic A/C Controls. Precision CNC Machined 6061/T6 Aluminum these controls come with a Mylar decal that indicates what position you are in at all times.
